This weekend I finished my January painting. Let me show you what I did.
Super fun now that modeling paste comes in colors. So nice to have it already mixed. And it’s very creamy.
I didn’t want a perfect design so I only filled in part of the stencil before lifting it off. The result looks like old, crumbly wallpaper.
The thickness of it makes it stand out, but because the pink matches what is there, not too much. I really wanted to play with the purple but it would be too much of a contrast and overpower the face.
So, do you love pattern on top of pattern as much as I do? I’m going to have to do all purples for february’s painting. Maybe her clothes can be all modeling paste. Fun!🦋♥️😍🌈
I’ve been in school for two weeks now. I love learning and doing homework, but it stressed me out thinking about getting hired and working everyday. I miss painting. Maybe I can do both.
Oh, I started reading for pleasure again. I go through a book every few days. My newest obsession is Cozy Books. They have a plot but move slowly and the author goes into detail about people having tea under warm blankets. I love it. Here is one I’m almost finished with.
The next cozy book I’m starting is called The Museum of Extraordinary Things if you want to read it with me.
